About Myself

First of all, a big Thank you for visiting my website.

Hello, My name is Vijayakumar Chinnasamy (in short, Vijay Chinnasamy). I live in Chennai, India along with my wife, daughter and parents. I can speak these three languages, English, Tamil and Spanish. I am fluent in English and Tamil. Although I have to develop more spanish skills.

I have broad experience in the IT industry for more than 10 years, my expertise areas include Oracle Server Technologies, Peoplesoft Technology including Peopletools, HRMS, EPM, FSCM General Ledger, tuxedo and application administration, IT Project Management, UNIX system administration (Solaris, Linux, AIX and HP-UX), Shell Scripting and Perl scripting skills, Oracle Database, Weblogic and Websphere application server administration.

I started my IT career as a Web Developer (Apache, Linux, Perl, CGI, PHP etc). After that I worked for couple of years as a Unix Administrator, and then I am doing Peoplesoft ERP related work along with some project management related activities. Recently, I am working on Oracle Server Technologies, mainly using Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle SSO, Oracle Internet Directory etc.
